MUNESCO Student Coordinator Training Programme

Hong Kong Institute of Education for Sustainable Development (HiESD)
The programme aims to train students’ ability to coordinate MUNESCO and MUN activities in their schools, initiate relevant student organisations, as well as to guide and coordinate students to participate in international and cross-school MUNESCO and MUN organized UNESCO HKA.
You will learn about: Main steps in organising MUNESCO/MUN events
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, global trends and topics for MUNESCO discussion
How to moderate MUNESCO/MUN events
How to draft proposals and guiding documents for MUNESCO
How to guide students to conduct research and prepare for cross-school and international MUNESCO/MUN events
Communication, leadership and team-building skills
Role-play and stimulations of MUNESCO
Language of delivery: English
Targeted Students: Hong Kong Upper Secondary School Students
Teaching Hours: 17 hours
Certificate: Completion of all training sessions and assignments will be awarded the “MUNESCO Student Coordinator” certificate issued by the Hong Kong Institute of Education for Sustainable Development
