2019年9月21日，由香港可持續發展教育學院主辦、裕達隆慈善基金贊助「聯合國國際和平日」香港地區紀念活動在香港西貢區成功舉辦。是次活動得到西貢區鄉事委員會、西貢區社區中心、西貢崇真天主教學校（中學部）、譽德萊國際學校、聖文德天主教小學、小翰林中國語言教育學苑的支持，超過100位嘉賓及100位學生出席。聯合國教科文組織協會世界聯合會榮譽主席陶西平教授發來賀辭，祝賀紀念活動的舉行。陶教授在賀辭中指出，和平是人民的永恆期望。和平猶如空氣和陽光，受益而不覺，失之則難存。沒有和平，發展就無從談起。

UN International Day of Peace Celebration (“the Celebration”) was successfully held in Sai Kung District of Hong Kong on 21 September 2019. The Celebration was organized by Hong Kong Institute of Education for Sustainable Development, sponsored by Utahloy charitable foundation, and supported by Sai Kung District Rural Committee, Sai Kung District Community Centre, Sai Kung Sung Tsun Catholic School, Utahloy International Schools, St. Bonaventure Catholic Primary School and Little Ark Education Company. More than 100 guests and 100 students attended the Celebration. Prof. Tao Xiping, Honorary President of World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Association expressed his congratulatory message to the Celebration. Prof. Tao indicated that Peace is the everlasting expectation of all people. Peace is like air and the sun. People enjoy the benefits without knowing. But we cannot survive if we lose it. Without peace, there will be no development.
