课程简介

World Heritage and intangible cultural heritage education is the cornerstone of cultural inheritance. It is an interdisciplinary approach centered on the core values of respecting cultural diversity, preserving and developing national cultures, enhancing awareness of environmental protection and sustainable development, and promoting harmonious development in the international community.

The transmission of intangible cultural heritage relies not only on the transmission of skills but also requires systematic educational methods to adapt to the learning needs of modern society. While traditional "apprenticeship" or oral transmission methods are valuable, in today's fast-paced society, scientific educational methods can help intangible cultural heritage inheritors improve their teaching effectiveness, attract the interest of younger generations, further expand their influence, and more effectively promote culture in schools, communities, and international platforms.

Under the three-dimensional teaching objectives of UNESCO's sustainable development education – knowledge, values and attitudes, and competencies – "The UNESCO World Heritage and Intangible Cultural Heritage Tutor Training Programme (for non-school educators)" aims to assist heritage, cultural, and intangible cultural heritage communicators and related professionals in organizing and launching intangible cultural heritage-related study and research activities. It also integrates the comprehensive and transformative educational model of sustainable development education into world heritage education, encouraging participants to actively participate in in-depth, lively and interesting study and research activities, strengthen innovation and collaboration, and focus on problem-solving and interdisciplinary learning, so that more young people can understand, study, protect and transmit on world heritage and intangible cultural heritage.
